The Best Minute: 10 minutes a day and how to achieve success

1 PERSONAL GROWTH SOLUTION FROM ME

10 minutes a day can change your life.

Want to learn an instrument? Commit to practicing 10 minutes a day. Want to read 30 books in a year? Read 10 minutes a day. Want to learn how to draw? Practice for 10 minutes a day. Want to learn how to edit videos? Practice for 10 minutes a day.

Start small, create a rhythm, and you’ll naturally want to increase your time spent because you now want to do it instead of trying to force yourself to.

Starting small allows you to go big. Starting big is too hard to maintain and leaves you feeling small.

2 QUOTES FROM OTHERS

I. A Portuguese proverb on how to achieve success:

“Think of many things. Do one.”

———————————

II. Standup comedian Cameron Esposito on how to achieve success:

“There is no formula for success—you just begin and then you continue. I’m often asked how to have a career in stand-up and the answer is confoundingly simple: Do the work. Over and over again, just do the work. After you build the courage to get onstage that first time, it’s all about repetition.”

1 INTERESTING FACT

The Golden Gate Bridge in San Fransico is painted continuously. Painting the Bridge isn’t just for looks, however, it’s primarily a maintenance job. The paint applied to the Bridge’s steel protects it from the high salt content in the air which can cause the steel to corrode or rust.
