The Best Minute: Ending your workday, achieving excellence, and specific dreams

1 PERSONAL GROWTH SOLUTION FROM ME

Set a hard end time to your workday.

What happens whenever you have a vacation coming up or you know you're going to be taking a few days out of your normal work routine? Your productivity somehow triples and you get more done in a day than you often do in three days.

Why is that? Because you have a hard break coming and need to make sure certain things are taken care of beforehand.

But why reserve that focus and productivity to only random times throughout the year?

Answer: you shouldn't.

Even though it may be artificial and you don't have to stop working at that time, by committing to an end time you'll cut the fluff and focus on what you need to do to be done at a reasonable time.

2 QUOTES FROM OTHERS

I. Aristotle on how to achieve excellence:

“We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence then is not an act, but a habit.”

II. Lily Tomline on the need for specific dreams:

“All my life I wanted to be somebody. Now I see I should have been more specific.”

1 INTERESTING FACT

Want to unlock your car from even further away? Touch your keyfob to your head.

If you touch the remote to your head while pressing the button, you can unlock your car from a further distance. For even better results, hold it under your chin and open your mouth. you're essentially turning your skull into an antenna. The fluids in your head make it a good enough conductor to actually increase the range of your key fob.
