💡 THOUGHTS FROM ME
I. You won’t achieve all of your dreams, but that should not stop you from working towards achieving some of them.

I. We often blame not being good enough at something when the problem is follow-through, not a deficiency in talent or skill. We say things like:
I’m not good at email
I’m not good at texting back
I’m not good at reading
I’m not good at arriving on time
Yet many of the things we are “not good” at have nothing to do with skill level; they simply require the discipline of follow-through.
You can be "good enough” if you decide to be.

📖 1 BRIEF BOOK REVIEW
I honestly knew nothing about the Johnstown flood that happened in Johnstown, Pennsylvania in May of 1889. In all, it likely took the lives of over 2,000 people.
It was an interesting read, and I am always fascinated by how historians can dig up so much information about so many people and places.
To that end, the book did a really good job. The biggest drawback was how hard it was to imagine the river, dam, flood, etc., from the descriptions that were given. Though I'm not sure that is the fault of the author. But at times it was hard to picture certain things that were written about.
Because the flood itself was a one day event, much space was also given to various people and the histories of some of the families involved. In all, it was a good read, but at times it was hard to track with.
