💡 THOUGHTS FROM ME
I. One of the biggest reasons we don’t try a new hobby, work towards a new goal, or attempt something we haven’t done before is because we think we are “too old.”
We think time has passed us by and we missed the window of opportunity.
Anytime your age or stage of life is a limiting belief, remember this: you will never be younger than you are right now.
So start now, because today is the youngest you will ever be again.

II. We often don’t hit our goals, not because our goals are too big, but because our steps to get there are too big.
Maybe you can’t lose 5 pounds in a day, but you can decide to drink water instead of soda for lunch
Maybe you can’t read 3 books in a week, but you can read one chapter a day
Maybe you can’t (or don’t want to) quit social media altogether, but you can proactively schedule when and for how long you will be on social media
Don’t worry about how long it takes you to get there, worry about what small habits you can create to sustain you along the way.
💬 1 HELPFUL QUOTE
C.S. Lewis on what busyness is:
“Busyness for most of us is a form of sloth because we haven’t planned well enough in order to embrace rest.”
📖 1 BRIEF BOOK REVIEW
A book about exactly what it says: coaching clients in your industry/area of expertise.
This is not something I am looking to do right now, but I was curious what I would learn from it. This book does a great job of practically laying out how to set up and run a coaching business, whether on the side or full-time.
If you are a coach or looking to become one, this book makes an excellent read. It is hard to rate this book (so I won't) because it is on such a niche topic, but overall it was well done and delivered on its title.
I would recommend this if coaching is something you are doing or want to do.
